It's All on My Website. And Other Ways We Miss Opportunities by Playing Small.

When someone asks what you do, do you say:

"Oh, I work in marketing."

OR

"I run a brand and personal brand studio for female founders."

I know my readers, so I'm going to call...

GUILTY!

One closes the conversation. The other opens a door.

Most women default to modesty. We minimise. We mumble. And then we wonder why people don't get what we do - oops! (and yikes?)

It's not that they're not interested. It's that we haven't told them. And we haven't told them in ways that are clear, compelling, and repeated.

Repetition is not boring. It's branding.

It's the bridge between what you know intimately and what the world actually understands.

We assume people get it. That they've read the whole website, seen your old LinkedIn posts, and read your CV cover to cover before bedtime.

If I had to go full PI mode on everyone I meet or see online, I wouldn't get any work done.

Let's put it into perspective.

The brands you admire most say the same thing over and over, just in different ways.

Nike doesn't say "Just Do It" once on a homepage and then hide behind product specs.

They show you someone running/playing football/living their best lives.

They show you sweat, struggle, pride AND (most NB) - they show you what life looks like with their product in it.

And somehow, you don't roll your eyes.

The same goes for you.

If your personal brand or business isn't generating intrigue, it's not because you're boring; it's because you're not visible enough.

Now let me ask you: how many opportunities are you missing by playing small?

Need a nudge? I can help.
